In early 2018, the bank was the subject of a protest and threatened boycott by a well-known Chicago advocate and community leader. I led the communications efforts – internally and externally; serving as company spokesperson and liaison between media and company, and led company strategy to mediate and resolve to avoid repetitional harm. After several on-site protests, I’m happy to say that we were able to work towards solutions acceptable to all.
